Program Disclosures: The Healthy Credit Practices Program is a program developed by The Business Resource Group, Inc. (BRG) with the assistance of The Community Capital Taskforce. BRG is a 501 (c)3 non-profit agency offering educational, technical assistance and economic development program that help improve equitable access to capital and growth opportunities for small and underserved business communities. BRG is not a lending institution and cannot make credit decisions. As a non-profit financial services intermediary, BRG does offer pre-loan assistance, education and training to help small business owners increase their access to capital. BRG collaborates with financial institutions and other nonprofits who offer capital to small businesses as part of Community Reinvestment Activities. As a public charity, designated by the IRS as a tax-exempt entity, BRG cannot warrant or guarantee that your loan application process will result in an approved credit transaction. Our credit education and capital access programs seek to help small business owners increase their understanding of credit requirements and link applicant to credit sources that best fit their credit needs. We have a very successful track record of helping small businesses access capital.
